As Manager of Grid Integration Engineering, Sachin manages the engineering and power plant controls offerings to support Merit Controls’ overall business operations. He sets the strategy for interconnection and transmission processes, and supports the development of Merit Controls’ SCADA, PPC and control system architecture. In addition, he leads and performs NERC MOD & PRC compliance and modeling analysis to help asset owners maintain compliance with regulatory body guidelines and requirements.

Sachin is an experienced power and energy systems professional with more than 8 years experience in plant modeling, analysis, design, and interconnection. He previously worked for a major solar developer and manufacturer, as well as a leading power engineering consulting firm. He also actively contributes to IEEE, WECC and NERC on a subcommittee, working group and task force. Sachin earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from India.M.S. in Power and Energy Systems from Arizona State University.
