Lars Johnson will oversee the development of innovative features to Merit Control’s Storage EMS/Microgrids, securing patents to build out our patent portfolio, supporting quality execution, and leveraging AI and machine learning to enhance the quality and productivity of our product offering.

Lars Johnson will focus on driving innovation, technical excellence, and quality assurance for our growing customer base. I’m integrating our technology development efforts to enable our growing team of talented engineers across the organization.

As an enterprise architect, Lars was instrumental in the success of several key technologies, especially the implementation of the block controller and improved emulation capabilities for our FAT.

Las is an engineer with experience deploying various control systems for solar and energy storage projects. As a communication and control systems application engineer with 25 years in the business, his principal engineering strengths include the design, development, testing, and analysis of utility-scale power plants.
